On Thursday we all loaded up our boats and traveled to Big Rideau Lake through one lock. We traveled to Rideau Ferry for lunch, then back to the Cove Inn for dinner there.

Friday morning the weather did not cooperate well with our plans. While most of the ladies traveled by car for a day filled with shopping at Perth, the men and one adventurous female made their way to Perth by boat. When we arrived back, we had just enough time to warm up and get ready for our annual cocktail party, complete with delicious hamburgers, hot dogs and sausages cooked by chef John Ford!
